I am usually in the car busy teaching, so it is best to drop me a What’s app message giving your details, and I will get back to you as quickly as I can.
If I can’t offer you a slot immediately I can pop you on my waiting list and I will contact you as soon as a suitable slot becomes available. Even if you’re not 17 for a few months yet, it is still worth enquiring now to avoid disappointment later!
I am now taking enquiries for my automatic waiting list, to begin learning May 2026. Message me on 07747 151274.
I run a daily diary with pupils usually given a fixed slot. My slots run Monday to Thursday, 9-11am, 11.30-1.30pm, 2-4pm. When you enquire, please make sure you let me know which of these slots would work for you and I can hopefully forward plan to ensure I can fit you in.
Cancellations may mean I have last minute lessons available if you would like to book any extra sessions, which is particularly useful coming up to a test, or refresher lessons if you haven’t driven for a while.
Looking forward to hearing from you, and in the meantime, read the newsflashes below as well as taking a look at a few ‘Reviews’.
Remember… The point of taking driving lessons isn’t just to pass a test!

ORDIT TRAINER REVIEW…October 2021– I have recently received this lovely review of my work from Andrew De Giorgio, (known as Deej), an ORDIT Driving Instructor Trainer, a Grade A ADI and Advanced Driver (RoSPA). I always highly recommend having a mock test with Deej, the experience is extremely valuable.
“With 13 years’ experience of training drivers and instructors, and after assessing your work through all your clients that have come to me for their mock tests, the verdict is in Anne… Your work is outstanding. If I wasn’t going to teach them myself, I would ask you to teach my sons; that’s how good you are!” Deej https://dgdrivertraining.com/
24th September 2019 – York Test Centre has moved!
The York driving test centre on Murton Way has relocated to Arabesque House on Monks Cross Drive. The first day of testing at Arabesque House was Tuesday 29 October 2019. All tests will now be conducted at the new site.
4th September 2019 – The DVSA announced plans to mark driving tests electronically, using a tablet in the car rather than using a paper marking form. Examiners conduct the test in exactly the same way as with the current paper form but record it electronically on an app. The official roll-out is now under-way.
10th January 2018 – Today was my Standards Check assessment and I am thrilled to announce that I was awarded a GRADE A by the DVSA examiner, which means I am “providing an overall high level of instruction” to my pupils.
