Drum roll please… I am happy to announce that I have achieved the Duffield Double with a brilliant first time pass for Jack today! It was a very similar test to brother Will’s; a wet November day, roadworks everywhere, including a bunch of ramps and closed lanes around the test centre, and hugely busy. You had a tough route including a new section I’d never seen before but you kept your nerve and achieved a really well-deserved pass that I’m very proud of. You have been an absolute pleasure to work with Jack; hard-working, motivated and great company to have in the car with your lovely sense of humour. Best of luck with your A levels exams next year and wishing you safe driving for life!

“I am the mum of Saima, who has just passed first time with Anne. Anne doesn’t just enable your child to pass, but teaches them how to be a fully rounded driver. I have sat with other teenage drivers and witnessed their driving and the biggest issue they seem to have is not being aware of their surroundings and anticipating problems on the road. Anne has taught my daughter how to deal with both these issues. She has encouraged and supported her continually. For instance, my daughter was anxious overtaking cyclists but Anne has made sure she has overcome her concerns in this area. We have had a frustrating few months with lockdown and self-isolation interruptions, as well as your test date being cancelled in November due to the second lockdown. It’s been great fun working with you Issey; we’ve had some giggles, not to mention putting the world to rights on many occasions!
